We moved on to Mahone Bay. The bay and the communities that surround it resemble the coast of Maine. Chester is one of these communities. We arrived as the sun was setting.
The ferry to Big Tancook Island --- it has ramps at both ends to allow vehicles to access the ferry from boat ramps.
A public salt water swimming pool makes swimming bearable.

The sights and smells of wild roses were everywhere.

Cruisers raft up at the dock while their crews enjoy shore- side treats.
