Ok, we are finally at a harbour (Canadian English spelling) where we have both good internet and also unlimited electricity. So, we can now catch you up on our adventures.
This blog posting, and the next one, are of a hike that we did at Liscomb Mills, Nova Scotia. You must understand that getting off the boat and exploring while doing some sort of physical activity is something that we yearn for. One can be couped up on a boat only so long. The following photos were taken during a rather rustic four hour hike along the Liscomb River. We saw only three other people in the four hour period.
The Trail: this is as good as it got.
The swing bridge over the falls was our goal at the top of the trail.
This is what a salmon fish ladder looks like. It was constructed in order to allow the fish to pass past the falls.
Wildflowers everywhere --- These are Lupine.
