We woke to another beautiful Maine day of sun and light winds. So we decided to go sailing just for the sake of sailing (no particular immediate destination planned). We passed Little Mark Island Monument as we sailed out into the Gulf of Maine.
A few miles off shore we could see the lighthouse on Webster Rock so we decided to sail out to it and back. It turned out to be a beautiful piece of stonework.
As the afternoon winds filled in we ran down to the Goslings - which is where the Cape Dory Cruise was to meet for the night. It is a very scenic and peaceful place when not overrun by powerboats.
Everyone gathered for happy hour on one of the CD 36s. A good time was had by all.
