It rained all morning. By noon the showers seemed to have passed and we were anxious to get out and about. So we set sail --- destination to be determined by events. It turned out to be one of the most peaceful sails that we have ever had. All the "summer complaints" (tourists) had stayed home due to the weather, and nearly all the watermen had finished their day of work. Consequently, there was essentially no noise on the water. Winds were light, and all one could hear was the faint lapping of water against the hull as we ghosted along.
The day glass ran out at Potts Harbor so that is where we dropped the hook and went exploring. The stormy clouds cleared as the sun set.
