The "Reach"

It is time for us to go to school - The Wooden Boat School.  The school is located in Eggemoggin Reach which is 10 miles long and called the "Reach"  because most often sailboats are reaching (a point of sail) when going either way.

Pumpkin Island Light marks the northwest end of Eggemoggin Reach.
