After an afternoon of sailing eastward along the coast we anchored in the dark near Dix Island. When we awoke, we knew we were back in Maine when we were welcomed by the many seals basking on the ledges. Note the white seal on the left hand rock.
When in Maine, you can feel as if you are in very remote locations and yet be very close to civilization. These photos were taken within a short distance from Rockland.
